Founded in 1863 by Fr・・d・・ric Mugnier, the estate covers nearly twenty hectares spread over Chambolle-Musigny and Nuits-Saint-Georges.
Before the creation of the appellations of origin, from 1878, the wines of the estate were sold under labels bearing the only mention "Ch・・teau Chambolle-Musigny", following the example of Bordeaux.
In 1985, Fr・・d・・ric Mugnier, son of Jacques-Fr・・d・・ric, took over full responsibility for the family estate.
