Being sold as is, untested! It looks to be in pretty good condition physically! A couple spots of porcelain loss to the top piece and smaller spots scattered about. Some surface scratches, scuffs, and discoloration throughout. Light tarnish to metal pieces. I don't know if the reflector part is complete. Please see photos!

HERE WE HAVE: A vintage Coleman camping lantern! This piece is marked on the side as model 228E. I believe this is a "Big Hat" style since it has the larger ventilation at the top? Not certain though!The bottom is marked with the date code "3 63".The side is also marked with the Sunshine of the Night logo but is misprinted; both the "t" in night and "a" at the end of America were not stamped into the metal. The lantern is green, with a clear, Pyrex glass globe. Also attached is a metal heat/light reflector piece. CONDITION: Being sold as is, untested! It looks to be in pretty good condition physically! A couple spots of porcelain loss to the top piece and smaller spots scattered about. Some surface scratches, scuffs, and discoloration throughout. Light tarnish to metal pieces. I don't know if the reflector part is complete. Please see photos!
